About the Conference

Developed countries strive to enhance the efficiency of their various sectors as part of their strategic direction toward comprehensive development, with the sports sector standing at the forefront as a fundamental pillar in building individuals, developing communities, and improving quality of life. Based on this concept, this conference aims to highlight the growing role of sports in supporting national development, showcase leading experiences, and discuss best practices that elevate the sports environment and support future aspirations.

Recognizing the importance of comprehensive individual development, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia places great emphasis on culture in general, and on sports culture in particular, considering it an essential part of daily life and a key element in raising awareness, developing physical and mental skills, and instilling positive behavioral values.

In line with this vision, the First International Conference on Sports Culture, titled “Sports Tourism and Recreational Culture,” is being held as a recurring scientific platform that brings together specialists and experts, enabling the exchange of expertise, ideas, and specialized studies. The conference aims to contribute to enhancing societal awareness of sports, supporting the intellectual and physical development of individuals, and strengthening the path toward sustainable development in the sports sector at both the local and international levels.
